Top 5 Waterside restaurants in Lagos

Dine with a view at these stunning waterside restaurants!

The best thing about dining out is the EXPERIENCE. From scenery, to ambience and savory food, to thirst quenching drinks. For People like me who just want to get outside and feel the cool waterside breeze, these restaurants are the go to!

1. Bolivar Bar Lagos: Very artsy lounge! Bolivar is located at Lekki Phase 1 and is very close to the Lagoon. It’s perfect for group hangouts and even a romantic dinner for 2 with it’s exotic fusion waterside lounge and it’s caribe twist. Although Bolivar has a limited menu (Burgers, chips and chicken………..🤪), they have quite an alluring range of drinks and cocktails that take you to the heavens and back. Did I mention their lovely Cubanas? If you are into that, you can rent for the evening.

Bolivar also has a gallery which is a great plus as you can explore different artworks. It’s a nice place to celebrate art and culture. A good budget for 2 people (meals and drinks) will be N15,000 to N20,000. And car parking space is also available.

2. Sailors Lounge: This lounge has a premium feel to it and mehnnnnn, don’t go to sailor’s lounge if you are scared of the waters, LOL! The first time I visited Sailor’s lounge and sat in the open space, I didn’t spend up to 30 minutes there (all I kept thinking of was MAMI water- aka 🧜‍♀️ mermaids), don’t mind me . It’s actually very nice and has this romantic feel to it, their meals and drinks are also a bit pricey but they taste amazing. A good buget for two is N35,000 – N40,000. Another perk is that they have a big parking space and are really CLOSE to the waters.

3. Bay Lounge

Baylounge is more of an open space with a cool view of the waterside, the best time to visit here is early evening. Their cocktails are okay (not amazing) and their menu is made up of both Nigerian dishes and intercontinental cuisine so if you are in the mood for a sizzling bowl of catfish peppersoup or a owl of Spaghetti Bolognese, these are your go to guys! A good budget for two is N20,000 – N25,000. Baylounge also has a boat service, just in case you want to take that beautiful man or woman on a boat cruise.

4. The Lighthouse

Lighthouse is by the waters and they have quite a variety of seafood on their menu! The location of the restaurant is also very cool, if you are driving towards Lekki Ikoyi tollgate you just can’t miss it. They also have Paella Thursdays all the time, on this day their Spanish chef cooks up Paella! A good budget for two is within N20,000 to N25,000.

5. Farm City

Farm City is my G!!!! Lol, it’s interesting how I had a bad impression of this restaurant before I visited. However after gulping down their Strawberry Daiquiri and Alfredo Pasta. My view just had to change.

Very affordable meals and drinks, the best thing is you don’t have to break the bank to have a nice time here (N15,000 – N20,000 for two). They also have an indoor and outdoor space so you can either chill with boo/bae or go there with your squad.

Fun Fact: All these restaurants are located at Lekki Phase 1.

Have you been to any of these restaurants? If no, when are you stopping by?

August 14th is just around the corner, foodies.

Ciao,

Bella
