Okada Café: Restaurant Review
There is a cool hangout spot right by the beach at Sol by the Box Mall, Oniru, also known as Sol Beach; it’s one of the newest beaches in Lagos. Okada Café is a beachfront café located at Sol Beach, which is distinct from the other beachfront spots we’ve visited.
Okada Café is petite yet has a very unique aesthetic that incorporates the Okada theme into its decor. One standout feature of Okada Café is their menu. They have a diverse menu that has something for everyone, whether you’re a vegetarian or not. Another fun thing is that they have an Instax camera for taking photos with your friends. To ensure an exceptional experience, they ask customers to rate their experience before leaving, which is pretty cool.
For the food, everything we tried out was vegetarian-friendly; we had:
- Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich; N7,000
- Penne Arabiata; N8,000
- Classic puff puff with white chocolate and sprinkle; N3,500 excluding toppings cost
- Classic puff puff with Suya spice and siracha mayo; N3,500 excluding toppings cost
- Classic puff puff with vanilla honey and coconut flakes; N3,500 excluding toppings cost
Okada Café has fancy puff puffs and a mix of delicious international dishes that you’ll love. Our favorite dish was the Penne Arabiata; it was so tasty! Note that it comes without protein; you can order any protein of your choice on their menu.
Okada Café is one beachfront Café we recommend you visit whenever you stop by Sol Beach. We were highly pleased with the attentive service and prompt delivery of our orders during our visit.
P.S. There is no extra access charge if you’re visiting the restaurant.
Budget per head: N15,000-N25,000
