The longest-serving African Restaurant in Nigeria
There’ve been a lot of new restaurants sprouting up in Lagos, but there are still old gems that have been consistent in this industry. Terra Kulture restaurant is one of them. It is an African restaurant in VI and they’ve been in existence for over a decade. They still have their A game and focus mainly on Nigerian delicacies.
Terra Kulture has a rustic and very welcoming ambience, and we love how they infused African aesthetics into this spot. The chairs and tables in the restaurant are crafted masterpieces made from trees cut down on the land where the restaurant has been located since 2005.
We went to Terra Kulture to satisfy our cravings, and what was the result? Happy faces and satisfied bellies all around! The meals were great and generously portioned.
We tried out:
- Terra Africana: The content of this meal was fried yam, pomo, chicken, goat meat, and gizzard sauce. It tasted really nice, and the sauce was properly seasoned and spicy as well.
- Ibile Rice: The Ibile rice is the normal native/palm oil rice, but it was nice and tasted as it should. It was served with a full dried catfish, and the portion of the food was great.
- Chef’s Pasta: The pasta tasted good as well; we enjoyed it.
- Palmwine: The palmwine was fresh and was served chilled, just how we wanted it!
We enjoyed our meals with no complaints, and the wait time was impressive; our meals were served in less than 20 minutes.
